Farewell Mayflower Sailing

Despite being super busy with school stuffs, I told myself that I will regret if I don't go down because it's the last time Mayflower will compete in Sailing Interschools as it is closing down.

So much memories flooded my mind when I reached Mayflower.
All those physical training, running around the study block with Band and CIO people around the corridor to the stupid regettas which i dreaded so much as I will end up becoming an inverse batman( the sunglasses tanline), burnt and my skins will start tearing.

All those time spent outside the sea, the thirst of water, hunger and sailing through thunderstorms, worrying that I will never get to see my family before I capsize in the sea and drown to my death.
Those moments where I just feel like giving up in the middle of the rain because the wind was too much for me to handle yet I have to just mindfuck myself to continue because I can't let the team down.

AYG, YOG, crying, fighting and showering in flooded bathrooms. Overnight cycling and all the medals I won. All of those just ended on that fateful friday.

Australia and Thailand trip.

And lastly, Mrs Sidhu's favourite sentence
The race is never over until you across the finishing line.

Very last interschools for myself. I remembered how relieved I felt because I CAN FINALLY CONCENTRATE ON STUDIES

2010!
and all the ninjas swimming over to my boat trying to capsize me after interschools is over. #memories. We will just abandon our boat, jump into the sea and swim over to other's, rock their boats and capsize their sails.
2011 B div!

GO TEAM MF
YOG USS TRIP <3

thank you guys for being there for each other since the very very beginning of secondary one!

That being said, Here's all the photos I took before i left.

Jhng who has been coaching me since I was secondary 2. For teaching all the techniques and caring for me like a mother towards a daughter. The encouragements and motivations before every single water training and race were extremely important to me. Thanks Jhng, I'll miss you so much and your pinoy accent. HAHA

Thank you Mrs Sidhu, Mr Vicknesh and Mr Nara. I love the three of you so much. Thank you for nurturing me into who I am now. Thank you for all the leadership skills and everything.
